That Time and That Person

One year ago, I came to Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. As we all know, the first thing I must do was military training, and my moment of embarrassment occurred during this period.
After two weeks’ training, we had a military training achievement performance which our team performed a highly choreographed display of foot stamping in the judgment seat through. That day, my body’s every cell told me the significance of this performance, making me more nervous. With the music started, we walked towards the rostrum. When we were in front of the rostrum, l stepped on a shoe whose master was in front of me because of my wandering attention. Luckily, that shoe did not fall completely, so I heaved a sigh of relief. Nevertheless, I was on the point of keeping going when I stepped on that shoe again! This time, that shoe and foot separated completely. I was so embarrassed that I wanted to find a seam drilling. I wanted to say sorry to that girl in front of me, but that was not allowed for a little bit of sound when walking. To tell the truth, I admired that girl who was so calm with one of her shoes gone. Although she had a shoe missing, she still kept walking, without stopping to blame me. She was a girl with strong responsibility and collective sense of honor. After the performance, I picked up her shoe and made an apology to her sincerely right away. She gave me a smile and said” just take it easy,” which greatly moved me.
In a word, I was so lucky when I was in the state of embarrassment. At least I did not lose face in front of lots of people. The moment of embarrassment only belonged to me.
